As first time homebuyers, the daunting process of purchasing a home was a whole lot less daunting when our mortgage loan advisor introduced us to Tami Condie. Tami was prompt in responding to our messages even before we met in person; and once we did meet, she was extremely personable, listened to what we were hoping for and was helpful in breaking down a complicated process into layman's terms. Within a week or so of our first meeting, we went on a tour of houses in various surrounding communities with no expectation and ended up finding our first home. During the tour, she explained the pros and cons of each house, and even provided additional insight as someone with experience in flipping houses. Within a month we closed on our home, and Tami was the first person to meet us at the house, ready to take pictures of this milestone in our lives. This is the second house that Tami has sold for me. The first was in Sacramento. This house was in Salinas, CA in Monterey County. I was a little concerned at first when Tami said she could sell my house in Salinas, since it was not within her normal territory. I took a chance and committed to her since she had done such a good job negotiating and selling my house in Sacramento. As it turned out, Tami did her research of the Salinas area concerning the comps. In addition, she took the additional step in contacting a local Sotheby's agent as her local resource for information. She had to signup with the local realtor board as well. Tami is a great RE agent. Super hard worker, very professional, went to great lengths to accommodate our looking at houses for a long, long time, even at inconvenient times, and over long distances. To say she went beyond the call of duty would be an absurd understatement, as we ended up being ridiculously picky and wasting vast amounts of her time. Actually, I'm embarrassed to say, we ended up being nightmare clients, as far as changing our minds & backing out of deals, which we feel really bad about, especially since she worked so hard to get us a house. She never complained & bent over backwards to help us in every way, when most RE agents would probably have a mob hit on us by now!
I don't know what those people who gave her a negative hit here are all about, but I can only imagine they didn't communicate with her properly about their wishes & there was some confusion about what she was supposed to do. Because seriously, what they accused her of is so out of character for her, it seems bizarre. I can't say enough good things about her! 01/18/2014
